Nuno Cardoso, former president of Porto City Hall, dies

Nuno Cardoso passed away, having served as president of Porto City Council. The former mayor was an engineering graduate from the University of Porto and led the Portuense municipality between 1999 and 2001. During his mandate at the head of the invicta city, Cardoso directed the municipality's destiny for two years. His death marks the passing of a figure from Porto local politics from the late 20th century.
