North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un inaugurated on Sunday a new destroyer with nuclear capability called Kang Kon. During the ceremony, Kim Jong-un declared that "the nuclearization of our Navy has been completed."
The Kang Kon now joins the Choe Hyon, forming a pair of 5,000-ton destroyers each. Both ships are equipped with missiles with nuclear capability.
According to the North Korean state news agency KCNA, these two ships represent the most advanced warships in North Korea to date.
