Education Minister Carmen Ortí presented this Monday the main highlights of the start of the 2026/27 school year in the province of Castellón, which has 98,958 students. The event marked the official start of school activities in the region.

The presentation was structured around four main axes: teaching staff, students, families, and employment and opportunities. These pillars guided the educational strategy for the new school year.

Carmen Ortí, as Education Minister, was responsible for detailing the plans and priorities for the education sector in the province during this period. The number of students confirms the significant dimension of the educational system in Castellón.
