Shepherds protest against lack of compensation for wolf attacks

Around 50 shepherds from the Miranda Highlands protested yesterday in Naso, in Miranda do Douro. The protesters are demanding that the Government pay the overdue compensation. The damages are due to wolf attacks that have occurred in recent years in the territory. The shepherds are outraged by the lack of response from the authorities to this situation that severely affects their activity.
