Parada de Pinhão, in the municipality of Sabrosa, holds on September 26 and 27 the fifth edition of the Traditional Cornhusking, an event that revives one of the most emblematic traditions of the region. The initiative is organized by the Parish Council of Parada de Pinhão and aims to preserve the memory, customs and knowledge associated with the old cornhuskings.

Saturday's program is dedicated to local artists and craftsmen, including painting and craft exhibitions. The main moment of the event is reserved for Sunday, with the recreation of the Traditional Cornhusking.

Filandorra – Teatro do Nordeste participates in the recreation, contributing authenticity and artistic quality to the event. The celebration brings together local population and visitors for a weekend dedicated to culture and the valorization of the region's identity.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Traditional Cornhusking revives traditions from other times, marked by fellowship and the valorization of local roots.
