ANA, the operator of Portuguese airports, proposes an increase in airport fees for the next year. At Lisbon airport, the proposed increase is 0.67%, which represents an increase of about ten cents compared to 2026.
At the airports of Porto and Faro, ANA proposes a more significant increase, of 3.8%, equivalent to an additional 34 cents. This disparity between Lisbon's fees and those of Porto and Faro has generated debate in the sector.
The proposal was reported by Jornal de Negócios and is now subject to approval by the competent regulatory authorities. The difference in the increases reflects, according to ANA, the specific investment needs of each airport.
