The parish of Ulme, in the municipality of Chamusca, receives between September 11 and 13 a new edition of the "Já te dou o Arroz" event, dedicated to the valorization of rice as an endogenous and traditional product of the region. The event takes place at the Festivities Grounds of Ulme, with free entry.
The musical entertainment is spread over the three days: on Friday perform Afonso Dubraz, Time Travel, Possessivo and DJ Karussa; on Saturday the Bandidos do Cante and DJ Joana Perez take the stage; on Sunday there is a walk called "Rice Field Trails" and the group RH+ performs.
One of the main highlights of the initiative is the Rice Gardens, a space dedicated to tasting and showcooking where dishes prepared by various chefs will be presented. José Maria Lino participates all three days, accompanied by João Simões, Gastão Reis and Bertílio Gomes.
On Friday, the 11th, between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, chef José Maria Lino presents the malandinho tomato carolino with fried petingas.
