Algarve registers one of the lowest secondary education completion rates

The Algarve region has one of the lowest secondary education completion rates in Portugal. Pordata data reveals strong territorial differences in school completion rates between different regions of the country. In the 2022/23 school year, the completion rate for the 3rd cycle (which corresponds to the 9th year of schooling) in the Algarve was below 85%. This information was reported by the Barlavento newspaper.
