The Regional Government of the Azores will grant tolerance of point in the afternoon of September 28 to workers of the Regional Public Administration whose services are based in Angra do Heroísmo, on the island of Terceira. The measure is due to the celebration of the traditional festival known as "Monday of São Carlos".

The dispatch was issued by the Presidency of the Regional Government, which is composed by the coalition PSD/CDS-PP/PPM. The document was published today in the Official Gazette, thus giving official knowledge of the decision to the workers covered.

The tolerance of point allows public workers not to work during the indicated period, being a practice frequently used on days of local or regional festivities. In the present case, the measure applies specifically to public services located in Angra do Heroísmo.
