Sánchez opens today the political season at Congress before his deputies, senators and MEPs

The president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, meets this Monday at the Congress of Deputies his deputies, senators and MEPs to begin the new political season. The event symbolically marks the start of political activity after the summer period.

The political season begins with the crisis in Ceuta as a backdrop, at a time when the situation in that Spanish autonomous city continues to generate political attention and concern.

The meeting will also be marked by the evolution of the intention announced by the Government to present the 2027 Budgets. This will be one of the central topics in the opening session of the new legislative period.

Members of the socialist parliamentary group participate in the meeting, as well as the representatives of PSOE in the Senate and the European Parliament, at a time when Sánchez seeks to coordinate political strategy for the coming months.
