The Minister of the Presidency, António Leitão Amaro, announced that the prototype of the artificial intelligence model AMÁLIA is expected to be deployed to public service counters in Portugal. The project aims to implement this artificial intelligence technology to support atendimento in public services.
The AMÁLIA project received additional funding of 1.8 million euros, which will allow for the development and expansion of the prototype into a real public-facing atendimento environment.
The AMÁLIA model was developed as an artificial intelligence system designed to assist with atendimento responses, and the government's intention is for this technology to be integrated into public services to improve the efficiency and quality of atendimento to citizens.
