Xamã, who gained national prominence both through rap and acting, spoke about his new work during the backstage of his show at Rock in Rio. The singer and actor, who in 2024 played Damião in "Renascer" and in 2025 played the bandit Bagdá in "Três Graças", is filming a new comedy series for Netflix called "Casamento aberto e outras coisas que não existem".
The series is directed by José Alvarenga Jr., and Xamã highlighted that he is outside the drama atmosphere, migrating to comedy with the director's "sharpened pen". For the singer, the experience has been a kind of intensive masterclass on the craft of acting.
The cast of the series includes names like Camila Pitanga, Sergio Guizé, Samantha Schmutz and Otávio Müller, with whom Xamã had previously worked. The artist stated that he learns a lot on set with all the professionals involved in the project.
Xamã expressed his admiration for the cast, comparing the feeling of being surrounded by so much talent to playing at Real Madrid, famous for gathering great stars of world football.
