ANA Aeroportos forecasts that Portuguese airports will register 76.7 million passengers in 2027, representing an overall growth of 3% compared to the previous period. This figure reflects the growth projections for the country's main airports.
In Lisbon, ANA estimates growth of 2%, with the capital's airport reaching 37.6 million passengers next year. Lisbon Airport thus continues to be the main point of entry for travelers in Portugal.
In Porto, the forecasts are even more optimistic, with a projected increase of 5% to 19.1 million passengers. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport thus demonstrates a growth rate above the national average.
The data indicate that Portugal's aviation sector maintains an expansion trajectory, with the North registering particularly strong performance in air traffic growth.
