Chelsea are preparing a move for Alex Scott, Bournemouth midfielder. The 19-year-old player has attracted interest from the London club, who intend to strengthen their midfield with the young promise of English football.

Alex Scott, from Plymouth, began his career at Plymouth Argyle before transferring to Bournemouth. Last season, the midfielder established himself as a starter in Scott Parker's team, impressing with his technical quality and tactical versatility.

In the opposite direction, Pedro Neto, the 24-year-old Portuguese winger who plays for Chelsea, is attracting interest from other clubs. The player, who joined the Blues in 2024 from Wolverhampton, has failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Enzo Maresca's team.

The rumor about the possible transfer of Alex Scott remains unconfirmed. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will put forward a formal offer to Bournemouth and what figure the Cherries will be willing to accept for their young midfielder.

Mourinho will have to invent a 'Rodri' on the whiteboard in the debut against Inter

Real Madrid faces Inter Milan on Tuesday in their Champions 2026-27 debut, a game that brings back memories for Mourinho, who led Inter to the European title before arriving at the Bernabéu. The match serves as a test to evaluate the Portuguese coach's management in the locker room after the first defeat of the season, against Betis. Attention falls on Mourinho's decisions on substitutions, having taken off Arda Guler - considered the best Madrid player - while leaving an almost invisible Vinícius on the field until minute 85 and a Mbappé who experienced his worst game of the season, missing several clear chances, including a penalty in stoppage time.
