The soap opera "Top model" aired between September 1989 and April 1990, at 7pm, and tells the story of Gaspar, a surfer played by Nuno Leal Maia, and his large family. The beach-themed plot showed the adventures of the character and his children, including the arrival of Lucas, played by Taumaturgo Ferreira, who ended up living in Gaspar's house in some chapters. The soap opera became a public success at the time.
Part of the cast gathered on Saturday night (5th) at a restaurant in São Paulo, commemorating the 37 years since the soap opera aired. Taumaturgo Ferreira shared the moment on social media, appearing alongside Nuno Leal Maia and Marcelo Faria, who played Elvis, one of the surfer's heirs.
During the reunion, the actors appeared singing "Babilônia maravilhosa," a song from the soap opera's soundtrack that at the time was performed by Evandro Mesquita. Another actress present was Suzy Rego, who played the character Carla, a model in the plot, and even appeared on the cover of the national soundtrack album of the soap opera.
