NotíciasdeAveiro.pt7 September 2026 at 00:05

BIKiNNOV – Bike Value Innovation Center – Association, the managing entity of the Technology and Innovation Center installed in Águeda, is seeking new innovative projects in the area of soft mobility. The association has opened a second call for BIKiNNOV Ignite, an INOVC+ Ignition Projects and Proof of Concept Competition.

The initiative is aimed at supporting faculty and researchers in the development and enhancement of R&D projects with promising results and innovation potential. BIKiNNOV's goal is to help transform knowledge into solutions with real-world application, supporting the validation, experimentation, and development of proof of concepts that allow increasing the technological maturity of projects and bringing them closer to the market.

The association makes available a global fund of 15,000 euros, intended to support up to five projects, with each selected application being able to benefit from technical and logistical support of up to 5,000 euros. Applications are open until September 30, 2026 and the communication of results will be made by October 30, 2026.

The competition is part of the INOVC+ program, a strategic initiative for the Central Region that brings together 23 partners and promotes the enhancement and transfer of knowledge and R&D+I results to the regional economy.
