During the 2000s, Fergie was practically synonymous with Black Eyed Peas. With the singer on vocals, the group scored hits like "Where Is the Love?", "My Humps", "Boom Boom Pow", "I Gotta Feeling" and "Pump It", becoming one of the most popular pop bands in the world.

Today, at 51 years old, the artist leads a much more private life and is distant from the routine of major tours that marked the peak of her career.

Fergie officially left Black Eyed Peas in 2017, after 15 years leading the group. At the time, the singer was focused on her solo career and the release of "Double Dutchess", her second album, as well as raising her son, Axl Jack, born in 2013.

Will.i.am stated that the decision was respected by the members and that Fergie remained part of the group's family.
