Fiorentina announced the dismissal of Fabio Grosso as head coach of the senior team. The decision was made after just four games of the coach in charge of the Italian club.
Fabio Grosso, a former Italian international defender who made his name by winning the 2006 World Cup with the Italian national team, thus leaves the technical command of the viola formation after a very short start to the season.
With this dismissal, the Portuguese players Pote, Beto and João Mário are left without a coach at Fiorentina. The three Portuguese internationals are part of the current roster of the Italian team.
The Florence club has not yet announced Grosso's replacement to lead the team for the remainder of the season.
