The band Barão Vermelho performed at Rock in Rio with a show of only 50 minutes, but it moved the audience present. The rainy weather reminded of the band's performances in 1985, although the temperature was lower. The band opened the presentation with the song "Maior abandonado," within the tour called "Encontro."
On stage, there were only the four original members still alive: Roberto Frejat on guitar and vocals, Dé Palmeira on bass, Maurício Barros on keyboards and Guto Goffi on drums. The screen on the right side of the stage presented technical failures during the presentation, but the audience didn't mind and continued singing along.
During the song "Pense e dance," the band received reinforcements from Fernando Magalhães on guitars, who has played with Barão since Cazuza left in 1985, and from Rafael Frejat, Roberto's son, also on guitar. Percussionist Cesinha also came on stage, in addition to backing vocals and supporting brass.
The 50 minutes available were considered short for a band with 41 years of history, and the band opted for a presentation that went through hits from various eras of their career, including songs like "Meus bons amigos," showing a summary of their musical trajectory.
