Paulo Raimundo considers that if PS makes a budget viable, it gives the Government room to "escalate the attack"

Correio da Manhã6 September 2026 at 21:44

Paulo Raimundo considered that if the Socialist Party enables the State Budget, this will give the Government space to "escalate the attack" against workers and the population.

The warning to the socialists was made during the Avante! Festival rally, the main annual event of the Portuguese Communist Party.

Paulo Raimundo, a figure associated with the PCP, thus warned the PS about the consequences of supporting the budget proposed by the Executive.

The position was conveyed in the context of the communist party's traditional event, which brings together thousands of supporters annually.
