Netanyahu orders evacuation of settlements in West Bank

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the evacuation of settlements in the West Bank. The information was reported by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich during a conference in Jerusalem.

Smotrich indicated that, as far as he knew, Netanyahu had given the order to evacuate the outposts, but did not specify which ones. The Finance Minister also stated that he did not like this order.

Several Israeli media outlets reported today that the Prime Minister's order was a consequence of American pressure. Ynet was one of the media outlets that reported this information.
