Benfica won the women's football Super Cup by thrashing FC Porto 5-1 at the Estádio do Fontelo. The red-and-whites thus lifted the trophy for the fourth time in their history.
The game started evenly and the Porto side caused some scares during the first half, showing competitive ability. However, the Benfica team managed to impose their rhythm and superiority after the break.
After halftime, Benfica showed their strength and gave their opponents no chance, building an expressive rout that reflected their dominance on the pitch during the second half.
With this result, the Benfica women add another conquest to their collection of titles, while the Porto side finish runners-up for the second time in the women's Super Cup final.
