Pope Leo returned to address the question of peace during the Sunday Angelus held in Saint Peter's Square, in the Vatican. The Pope addressed directly those responsible for the new diplomatic negotiations underway.

The negotiations were relaunched by the United States with the objective of finding a solution to end the war in Ukraine. The process involves conversations between representatives of the USA, Russia and Ukraine.

The Supreme Pontiff expressed his support for these diplomatic negotiations during his Sunday message, reinforcing the appeal for a peaceful resolution of the conflict devastating the region.
