Around 200 people participated on Sunday morning in the Mirandês Plateau Hiking Tour, which connected Miranda do Douro to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Naso. The route, approximately 16 kilometres long, started at the Miranda do Douro Tourist Office and took participants through some of the most characteristic natural scenery of the plateau.
The walk took place on a day marked by high temperatures, which required additional care throughout the route. To ensure the safety of participants, the Voluntary Firefighters of Miranda do Douro and the ULS of Miranda do Douro provided support throughout the initiative.
The activity allowed participants to discover some of the most emblematic landscapes of the Mirandês territory, bringing together participants on a nature and socializing route. The organization was handled by journalist Vitória Botelho.
