BE questions waiting times for first psychology appointment in the NHS

The Left Block is questioning the waiting times for the first psychology appointment in the National Health Service.

The NHS currently has about 1,200 psychologists throughout the public health system.

Of these professionals, 500 work in primary healthcare and another 500 are assigned to public hospitals.

The remaining NHS psychologists are distributed across other public sector projects.
