Jadon Nicoara, a hunter from Walla Walla, in the state of Washington, barely survived a bear attack during a hunting trip in Alaska. The man was accompanied by his cousin, Daniel, when the animal appeared out of nowhere and attacked him without warning.
The two hunters had decided to hunt on higher ground, believing that bears would be less of a concern in that area. However, they ended up coming face to face with a bear, which caught them off guard.
The bear bit Nicoara in the face and caused serious injuries. The man said he could feel the strength of the animal's jaws as it attacked, describing the intensity of the moment. According to The Independent, Nicoara even wrote a farewell letter to his family and prayed during the attack, believing he would not survive.
