Miguel Oliveira finishes second race in France in 15th place after penalty

SAPO Notícias6 September 2026 at 16:06

Miguel Oliveira finished the second race of the French Grand Prix in 15th position, after being penalized during the competition. The Portuguese rider failed to achieve a positive result in this Moto2 championship race.

Nicolò Bulega, Ducati rider, dominated the race from start to finish. The Italian crossed the finish line with a 5.420-second advantage over the second-place finisher, Iker Lecuona, also on a Ducati.

The race took place at the Le Mans circuit in France and featured several international riders. Bulega demonstrated consistent performance throughout the entire race, managing to maintain the lead without major threats from competitors.

The result represents a setback for Miguel Oliveira, who aimed to achieve a more favorable classification at this stage of the championship. Meanwhile, Bulega consolidates his prominent position in the competition with this convincing victory.
