Fortunately, the Ferrari driver escaped unharmed from the accident and suffered no injuries. His health was not a concern after the violent impact.
The damage caused to the track barriers forced the safety car entry, interrupting the race. This situation forced the temporary suspension of the race for repair of the damaged barriers.
