British influencer Gina Bugden, 24, ended up with a deformed lower lip after "chewing it" while sleeping. The episode occurred after a day of intense stress. Gina has the habit of biting her lip when she's stressed or anxious, but this time she ended up taking the habit to bed.
The timing couldn't have been worse. Gina lives in Phuket, Thailand, and needed to go to an Immigration office to renew her visa. Fearing that the swollen lip might cause some problem, she went to the location wearing a mask. However, an officer asked her to remove the protection for security reasons.
Fortunately, Gina managed to explain the sleep episode and everything turned out fine, with the visa renewed normally. The British influencer received support from followers on social media, who compared her swollen lip to the character Rocky, played by Sylvester Stallone, after taking many punches. Some reported having the similar habit of biting their lips while sleeping.
