The Feira do Mel do Espinhal takes place in the parish of the municipality of Penela, bringing together 16 beekeepers who exhibit and sell their honey. The event also features 25 exhibitors of endogenous products from the region and 18 of local craftwork.
The event is described as demonstrative of the resilience of honey producers, frequently referred to as "sweet gold". This edition of the fair highlights the ability of beekeepers to maintain productive activity despite the challenges faced by the sector.
