Typhoon Saudel caused a landslide in eastern China, resulting in three deaths. Nine other people remain missing after the incident. The heavy rains associated with the typhoon hit Jiangxi province, destroying approximately a dozen homes in the region. The landslide occurred as a direct consequence of the extreme weather conditions caused by the passage of the typhoon.
