The Fluvial Beach of the Nautical Activities Center in Odeleite, located in the municipality of Castro Marim, will remain open for swimming until the end of September. This fluvial beach, located in the inland Algarve, will continue to allow public access during the coming weeks.
However, surveillance by lifeguards will end starting Sunday, September 6. This means that bathers who wish to use the beach from that date onwards will have to do so without the presence of aquatic safety professionals.
The decision to keep the beach open, but without surveillance, represents a change in the usual operating regime during the bathing season. The extension of the beach's opening until the end of September allows visitors to enjoy the conditions for swimming during a longer period than usual.
