Volvo turns the EX30 into a mobile power bank thanks to its latest update

Volvo has begun implementing a new over-the-air (OTA) software update for the Volvo EX30. This update is free and brings new features to the Swedish brand's electric vehicle.

With this update, the EX30 can now function as a mobile power source, allowing users to use the vehicle's energy anywhere. This feature transforms the car into a sort of ambulatory power bank.

Additionally, the update significantly simplifies the charging process at public stations by incorporating the Plug & Charge function. This feature allows the vehicle to automatically connect to compatible charging stations without manual intervention.

The update is being distributed gradually to all Volvo EX30 owners, offering these new capabilities at no additional cost.
