Folk festival in honor of the patron saint

Diário de Leiria6 September 2026 at 13:00

The folk festival in honor of the patron saint celebrates its 24th edition this year. The event was born from the absence of the Festas no Largo, having been created to fill a void left by the lack of these traditional celebrations.

This year, the organizers and participants of the festival "meet again" at "home", suggesting that after some period of separation or suspension, the event returns to its original location.

This year's edition thus represents a moment of return and reunion for the community, celebrating the folkloric traditions associated with the patron saint.
