Families and animals gathered for an afternoon of socializing in Cête

Jornal 3606 September 2026 at 11:39

The Urban Park of Cête was the setting, this Saturday, of an afternoon dedicated to socializing between families and companion animals. The "Pawfulness Sunset" event, organized by the Social Center of Cête in collaboration with the Pawfulness project, provided moments of socializing, entertainment, and sharing in a relaxed environment, bringing the community together in a space designed to be enjoyed by people and their animals.

The initiative featured the presence of CROA Paredes, which took the opportunity to raise awareness among the population about the animal cause. The Official Animal Shelter of Paredes was on site collecting essential goods and promoting the animals that are available for adoption, thus giving visibility to the animals waiting for a new family.

The event sought to reinforce within the community the importance of responsible adoption, also counting on the presence of the Vice-President of the Municipality of Paredes, Francisco Leal. Photos of the event were made available by the Municipality of Paredes.

A monument to the forgotten battle that marked the history of Castellón

A monument in Castellón commemorates a forgotten battle that marked the history of the region, whose origins date back to the beginning of the 16th century, when Charles V arrived in Spain in 1517 to assume the inheritance of the Catholic Monarchs. As a young and inexperienced king, educated in Flanders, who was unaware of the languages and particularities of the peninsular kingdoms, Charles neglected their governance, prioritizing European affairs. This neglect triggered two major revolts: the comuneros in Castile and the agermanats in the Kingdom of Valencia, the latter with a strong impact on Castellón.
