Putin receives Trump's proposal, but maintains that Russia will achieve its objectives

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, resumed this Saturday negotiations with the United States after more than six months of pause, with the objective of reviving the peace process in Ukraine. Putin received at the Kremlin Palace the envoys of the president of the United States, Donald Trump. Trump stated that the envoys were bringing to Moscow and Kiev a proposal to end the war. Despite having received Trump's proposal, Putin maintained that Russia will achieve its objectives.
