Changes starting today at Portuguese airports

Starting Sunday, September 6, Portuguese airports begin applying new border control rules. These new measures concern citizens of countries that are not part of the European Union.

Portuguese airports will begin collecting data from travelers arriving from third countries. The measure specifically applies to citizens outside the European Union who enter Portugal.

These changes come within the framework of new border control rules in Europe. The aim is to strengthen security at entry controls in the Schengen area.

Starting from this date, passengers covered by these rules will have to comply with new procedures at Portuguese airports.

Church: Patriarch of Lisbon challenges Catholic communities to promote unity and combat indifference
