The Portuguese coach Abel Ferreira, from Botafogo, was punished with two games of suspension by the Paulista Football Federation after kicking a microphone during the last round of the Paulista Championship, in a match against Mirassol. The incident occurred after the end of the match, when the coach demonstrated dissatisfaction in relation to some situation that occurred during the game. The punishment was applied based on the disciplinary rules of the competition. However, the punishment was suspended, meaning the suspension will not be served immediately, as long as the coach does not commit new infractions within a determined period. Abel Ferreira continues in command of the team on the bench, with no impediment to exercising his technical functions during the next games.
