José Correia completely dominated the first day of the International Boticas Hill Climb, winning all three runs with his Osella PA30 from JC Group Racing Team. The Braga driver signed a time of 2:18.011 in the only Race Run on Saturday, finishing 6.147 seconds ahead of Nuno Caetano, who came in second place with the Osella PA2000 EVO2-PA30 from Power House, and 7.008 seconds ahead of Spaniard José López-Fombona, who placed the Audi RS5 DTM in third position.

The event organization was handled by Demoporto, which effectively resolved the various interruptions caused by mechanical problems, allowing for two Official Practice Runs and one Race Run. In the other categories, Hélder Silva demonstrated a positive performance upon his return to competition, finishing in fourth place with the Osella PA21/S Evo, while Luís Nunes surprised by placing the Škoda Fabia R5 in fifth absolute position.

The rain that hit Boticas during the final run significantly affected Tomás Pinto, who had been the fastest among the Prototype B cars in the practice sessions. The Famaconcret Racing Team driver dropped to fifth place among the Prototype B cars, allowing Gonçalo Inácio to take the division lead with the BRC B49 EVO. In the Portuguese Mountain Hill Climb Championship 1300, Diogo Marques and José Carlos Magalhães produced an impressive duel, separated by only 91 thousandths of a second.

In the Portuguese Mountain Kartcross Cup, Márcio Araújo leads with AG Sport, with only 215 thousandths of a second advantage over Galician Jesús Otero. Sunday promises to be decisive, with one more official practice run and two race runs that will decide the winners of the various categories in competition.

Reinforcement requested by Marco Silva did not arrive and now coach has a 'headache' at Benfica

Benfica's right-back Alexander Bah left the pitch with a forearm injury at 17 minutes into the match against Marítimo, after a collision with Paulo Henrique, having been substituted by Jakub Kaminski and going directly to the locker rooms. This injury represents a headache for Marco Silva, because after Amar Dedic's departure to Newcastle, the only natural right-back available in the squad is Daniel Banjaqui. The coach had already warned about the lack of depth in the position, fearing having to depend on Fredrik Aursnes, whose adaptation to the right flank does not please the coaching staff.
