JPP promotes this Wednesday, September 9, starting at 9:00 AM, at the IDEIA Center, in Funchal, a conference dedicated to the theme 'Ferry and Territorial Continuity'. This initiative comes as a reflection on the maritime connection between Madeira and the Portuguese mainland.
The organization of this conference is in charge of Isabel Santos, coordinator of the party's Office of Studies and Strategy. The event aims to debate the importance of territorial continuity for the autonomous region.
One of the central points of the conference will be the analysis of the economic-financial study on a regular ferry connection between Madeira and the mainland. This document is considered fundamental to evaluate the viability of the project.
Élvio Sousa considers that the document shows the will of the Madeirans to recover a ferry connection, reinforcing the importance of this infrastructure for the region.
