Princess Leonor will arrive at Carlos III University in Getafe on Monday to begin her studies in the Degree (undergraduate program) in Political Science. The anxiety over her arrival is not limited to the royal family or the university center's management, but is also felt among the 40 students who will share a class with her and, surprisingly, among the campus workers.
The workers at the Getafe campus, which was still empty on the eve of the start of the course, showed nervousness and made jokes about the situation. In the cafeteria nearest to the building where the princess will study, humorous comments followed one after another among the workers.
One employee exclaimed: "On Monday, everyone dressed to the nines!", while another asked the waiter if he would wear a tailcoat. A third university employee commented with concern: "Good Lord, what tension awaits us...", predicting that they would have to wear their university identification card permanently visible.
