Two firefighters were injured, on Saturday, September 5, as a result of a collision between an ambulance from the Sertã Fire Brigade and a passenger vehicle. The accident occurred when the firefighters were returning to the station after an intervention. The two injured were assisted at the scene and taken to the hospital. Traffic on the road where the accident occurred was restricted during the rescue operations. The causes of the accident are being investigated by the competent authorities.
