Celina da Piedade performs this Sunday, September 6, as the headliner for the closing of the Castro Mineiro Festival, which takes place in Castro Verde. The artist will be responsible for closing the event, which over several days has showcased various cultural manifestations in the region.
The last day of the festival also includes performances of cante alentejano in the localities of A-do-Corvo and Neves da Graça. Cante alentejano is a musical tradition recognized as intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
The Sunday morning program begins at 11:00 in A-do-Corvo, with performances by choral groups. The event also features a comedy show scheduled for Parque da Liberdade, thus completing the cultural offering of the festival's last day.
