Three more residential blocks were evacuated in the Zaidín neighborhood in Granada due to the impact of the earthquakes affecting the region. The decision was made by the technical team in charge of inspecting the state of buildings after the seismic series that has been active since August 15 in the province of Granada.
The Zaidín neighborhood, in the Granada capital, is the most affected by the earthquakes. Technical inspections continue to evaluate buildings in the area to determine which structures present risks to residents.
So far, authorities have been ordering the evacuation of buildings that show structural damage caused by seismic activity. The affected population had to be temporarily rehoused while the assessments and repair work are carried out.
