At least 25 people died in a road accident on the Cape Verdean island of Fogo. The vehicle was carrying 32 people, mostly young people and teenagers.

The accident occurred when the bus left the road and fell from a height of about 30 meters. The accident site was in the locality of Campanas de Cima.
