Carrascal completed one year at Flamengo last Wednesday, in great style. He was the best on the field in the 2-0 victory over Mirassol in the Brasileirão, after scoring a goal and providing an assist. The Colombian is going through one of his best moments with the club's jersey right in the post-World Cup period, showing maturity and confirming the good streak on the field.
The midfielder has accumulated eight direct goal contributions in the last seven games of the season, with three goals and five assists. Although most of them (five) happened in two matches against Mirassol, the performances serve to give confidence to a player considered very useful by Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim.
Carrascal may receive a new opportunity against Remo today, at 4 PM. Called up by Colombia to compete in the last World Cup, he is a versatile midfielder who, besides playing centrally, commanding the game, can also play in other positions.
