"On that day I also died": mother of young man shot dead in 2024 asks for justice to be done

A 28-year-old young man was executed with five shots in March 2024, in the Ramalde neighborhood. The case is now advancing to court, after months of investigation.

The victim's mother broke her silence and spoke publicly about the crime. In her statements, she described how the homicide completely changed her life, stating that on that day she also died.

The family asks that justice be done for the young man's homicide. The judicial process is ongoing and the case will be judged in the judicial sphere.

Dutch driver Loek Hartog abandoned the race during a China GT round at the Shanghai International Circuit to save British driver Ollie Millroy, whose car caught fire after a serious crash. Millroy suffered five rib fractures, as well as injuries to his collarbone, hand, and a finger, plus a pulmonary contusion. The accident occurred when David Chen's Ferrari, after colliding with Neil Verhagen at Turn 14, spun around and was hit at high speed by Millroy's Ferrari 296 GT3, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
