The village of Paranhos da Beira, in the municipality of Seia, hosts on Sunday, September 6, the opening of the 2026 National Enduro Sprint Championship season. This is the first time the town serves as host for this competition, which is organized by the Talentos Objetivos association under the auspices of the Portuguese Motorcycling Federation.
Local rider Mário Patrão, an established figure in the sport, will not be on the starting grid. Instead, he takes on the role of race director, having highlighted the work on preparing the course and the expectation of a great show for enduro enthusiasts.
The competition is scheduled to start at 10:00 and features a total course of 21.5 kilometres, divided into two special tests: the Pista de MX das Oliveiras, with 5 kilometres in length, and the Adjacent Special, with 4.2 kilometres, parallel to the main track. Elite class riders will have to complete the circuit five times, while the Green, Veterans and Ladies categories will do four laps. The riders in the Promoção, Elétricas and Hobby classes will complete three laps of the course.
