The Madeira Ornithological Association will participate in the 12th Internacional do Sado, an event organized by the Setúbal Ornithological Club. The Madeiran delegation is composed of 23 birds from seven breeders in the region.
The increase in live animal air transport rates was the factor that prevented the Madeira delegation from being larger for this ornithological event. This logistical limitation constrained the association's participation in the event.
The Internacional do Sado is one of the main ornithology meetings in Portugal, bringing together breeders and associations from various regions of the country for the display and competition of birds.
