A one-and-a-half-year-old child was run over in the town of Belas and dragged approximately four meters. The victim suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident.

The child was transported to Hospital Dona Estefânia in Lisbon to receive specialized medical care.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident to determine the causes and responsibilities of what happened.
